Progressive is close behind at $153 monthly ($1,831 annually), making it only $20 more per month than the cheapest option overall.

Choosing full coverage protection from Erie saves drivers 20% ($750 yearly) compared to the national average full coverage premium, which charges $252 monthly. Travelers charges $29 monthly, saving drivers 16% or $662 annually, versus the national average. For just $6 more, Progressive and GEICO provide low-cost SR-22 coverage starting at $309.

USAA offers the most affordable non-owner SR-22 insurance, with minimum liability coverage starting at just $28 a month or $336 a year.
