Our baseline is a 40-year-old man driving a 2012 Toyota Camry LE with a clean record, good credit, 12,000 miles a year, a valid license and no prior claims. We adjusted age, driving record, credit score and military status to identify the best rates for different driver categories.

Company Rating System

Our evaluation process weights three factors:

  • Cost (60%): Quotes compared across multiple driver profiles per city, measured against local competitors.

  • Coverage variety (10%): Breadth of available policies and features not available at most competitors.
