Methodology
For this analysis, MoneyGeek collected quotes and data from insurance providers in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This information was evaluated to find the best car insurance companies in the city. Scores were based on ratings provided by industry leaders, including AM Best, J.D. Power and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
Categories were scaled to five points, while the overall rating was scaled to 100 points to generate a composite MoneyGeek score. In finding the best auto insurance companies in Colorado Springs, Colorado, MoneyGeek used the following weightings:
