Nichole Myers

Nichole Myers is Chief Underwriter at Ethos, which she joined in April 2022. She oversees how Ethos builds and executes its underwriting strategy. Myers also shapes the technology and business processes behind how the company serves its customers.

Before Ethos, Myers spent more than a decade in life insurance underwriting. She was Senior Vice President and Underwriting Innovation Lead for the Americas at Swiss Re, and before that held a senior business development role at MIB Solutions Inc. At MetLife, she spent close to 10 years, moving from customer service into underwriting and later helping build field support for the company's direct-to-consumer telesales channel.

Myers speaks regularly on underwriting automation and technology, including a panel at the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association's 2022 Fall Meeting. She's also discussed modern underwriting as a guest on the Profiles in Risk podcast.

Role: As a reviewer, Nichole evaluates MoneyGeek's life insurance content for factual accuracy, underwriting standards and industry terminology, drawing on more than 15 years of experience in life insurance underwriting, automation and risk assessment.
