Having a plan with a lower MOOP will protect you from excessive costs if you experience a very expensive year for health payments. With AARP Medicare Advantage Choice Plan 1 (PPO), you won’t have to pay for in-network coverage after reaching the Max-Out-of-Pocket of $4,300.
