Mitchell Weiss

Mitchell D. Weiss is a financial services entrepreneur with experience running commercial finance companies and serving as an executive in various banks. Since 2008, he has led a consulting practice advising banks, private equity firms, and small to mid-sized businesses.
He is the author of several finance books, including Life Happens, Business Happens, and Practical Finance, and has written articles and op-eds on financial topics. Mitchell also serves as an Executive in Residence at the University of Hartford, co-founded its Center for Personal Financial Responsibility, and is an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers University, where he teaches a popular online finance course.
