How to Compare Capital One Credit Cards & Intro Offers

Capital One credit cards for business come with varied features and benefits. As a result, you need to pay attention to multiple aspects when making a selection.

1
Charge or credit card

If you need a no preset spending limit (NPSL) business card, you may want to look at what the Capital One Spark Cash Plus Card has to offer.

2
Early spend bonus

The early spend bonus you stand to earn depends on the card you get. For example, the Capital One Spark Cash Select offers a one-time $500 cash bonus if you spend $4,500 on purchases in the first three months. The Capital One Spark Cash Plus Card, on the other hand, offers a much higher bonus of $1,200 accompanied by a much higher spending requirement of $30,000 in the first three months.

3
Cash back/miles rate

The cash back or miles per dollar you earn is not the same across all Capital One business cards. The no-annual-fee Spark Cash Plus, offers 2% cash back on all business purchases and 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel. The Spark Miles for Business offers essentially the same rewards rates, but in the form of miles.

4
Annual fee

Capital One gives businesses the option of choosing from business cards that come with and without annual fees. The Capital One Spark Cash Select makes for the best no-annual-fee choice. You'll need to evaluate your spending to decide if the $95 fee for the Spark Miles for Business ($0 in the first year) or the $150 annual fee for the Spark Cash Plus (refundable with $150,000 spending in a year), might be worth it for your business.

5
APR

If you plan to maintain a revolving balance on your card from one month to the next, pay particular attention to this aspect. In such a scenario, you might be better off getting a low APR card that may or may not offer rewards/cash back.

6
Foreign transaction fees

Capital One business credit cards come without foreign transaction fees, so you won't have to worry about transacting with overseas merchants or using the card while traveling abroad for work.

For Capital One products listed on this page, some of the benefits may be provided by Visa® or Mastercard® and may vary by product. See the respective Guide to Benefits for details, as terms and exclusions apply.
