Reginald Mombrun, J.D.

Professor Reginald Mombrun has been with the School of Law since fall 2008. Before joining this institution, he taught at Florida A&M College of Law from 2004 to 2008. He spent 14 years at the IRS, specializing in corporate mergers and acquisitions, and served as Assistant Branch Chief. Professor Mombrun has contributed to numerous regulations, rulings, and procedures in corporate tax law.
He holds a business degree from Boston University, a J.D. from NCCU School of Law, and an LL.M. from the University of Florida. A member of the Florida Bar and the ABA, he teaches various law courses, including Contracts and Corporate Taxation. Professor Mombrun has authored two books on corporate taxation, numerous articles, and has introduced a tax certificate and a low-income taxpayer clinic at his law school. He is also active in the Durham community, serving on several local non-profit boards.
